Plans were made with good intentions to have a nice picnic at somewhere around 8,000 feet above sea level where the air is crisp and cool. It wasn’t meant to be. When the scouting party arrived to attempt to set up camp, all the spots were taken. No room in the inn. Without a moments hesitation Vice President Sam Pernu put “plan B” in motion and the venue was relocated to Agua Caliente Park. It turned out to be the perfect setting for a Club picnic with a lot of good food, good friends and good times. Seven Corvairs also attended the outing belonging to Mike Lake, Bill Maynard, Dave Lynch, Gloria Trejo, Ron Bloom, Frank Trejo and Sam Pernu.
