On March 4 Bonnie Henry, a journalist for the Arizona Daily Star, interviewed several members the club in preparation for an article on the 50th anniversary of the introduction of the Corvair. The first few pictures we taken that day at Ron Bloom's house. The photo shoot for the article was held at the historic Fort Lowell Park in Tucson and the remainder of the photos were taken as Arizona Daily Star photographer James got the group set up for pictures. There were 10 Corvairs there including cars owned by Bill Maynard, Dave Lynch, Patrick McKenna, John and Amy Young, Ryan Green, Barry Cunningham, Allen Elvick, Ron Bloom, Van Pershing and President Ken Farr. Mark McKenna, Lynn Marrs and Ed Segerstrom were also in attendance.
