On April 22, 2017, the TCA participated in the annual Cactus Corvair Club Picnic which took place at various locations in Scottsdale including Eldorado Park, the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park and a car show at the local McDonalds. Three cars made the trip from Tucson and were amoung the 14 Corvairs total.
