A half dozon hearty souls made the trek from Tucson to El Dorado Park in Scottsdale to attend the annual picnic that the Cactus Corvair Club organized and excicuted. Attending from TCA were Mike Lake, Frank Nuñez, Sam Pernu, Ron Bloom, Frank Pella and Van Pershing and four TCA Corvairs. Four Tucson cars were there and were among the 14 Corvairs total.
