.On Thursday evening, July 18, 2013, several members of the TCA showed up at Freddy’s Steakburgers to participate in the weekly Cruise In held there every Thursday evening. There were five Corvairs on display that attracted lots of attention from the crowd. Since there are usually no Corvairs in attendance, it was a unique experience for the folks who we there. Bill Maynard was there with his Lakewood, John and Amy Young along with their daughter visiting from Georgia came in the ‘66 turbo Corsa convertible, Charlie Evans was there with his V8 ‘65, Dave Lynch just happened to be home on vacation and showed up in his ‘67 Monza, and Van Pershing was there with his Stinger car. President Mike Lake also came to support the effort.
