The Club caravaned with the Phoenic club to the Toss. Mike Lake, Brad Bacon, Tony Warren, Bill Maynard and Eileen cruised together to meet up with the Cacus Club at I-10 and Dysart Rod west of Phoenix. The grouip made it to Palm Springs without incident. Three Corvairs on trailers and three regular cars in the group. Once in Palm Springs, we unloaded our cars, and set up the swap meet space. Frank and Ron drove their cars to the show but Ron had an issue along the way and limped in.

The swap meet area had more vendors then I have ever seen in the past, 60 Corvairs were in attendance, but the number of swap meet shoppers was down drastically. This affected sales and we only sold $270 of the donated items.

On Friday night and Saturday night we joined forces with the Cactus Corvair Club for dinner. Johnny Costa's was the Friday night choice and once again, they did not disappoint. We went to a Mexican Restaurant on Pat's recommendation, Saturday night and the food was great A great time was had by all!

On Sunday morning we loaded up the rides and Dave Wenzlick was kind enough to Ron's car on his trailer and tow it back to Phoenix. Thank you Dave, you saved the day. On Monday, Ron, Jan and I went to Phoenix  to retrieve the car.
