On April 5, 2024, the TCA participated in the 36th annual Chevy Showdown which was held at the Desert Diamond Casino south of Tucson and sponsored by the Classic Chevy Club of Tucson. It was a great event and several TCA members helped with judging and parking. The weather was beautiful. There were over 140 cars in the show including Corvairs 7 Corvairs!! plus one GM bus!!!
